The Age Food Photo Comp

On Thursday I spotted this little ad box thingo in the corner of the green guide where it said photo comp for food photos!!! I was like 0.0 The Age is doing this?!!! My motivation, the $2000 worth of photography equipment, because at the moment, a 5mp point and shoot with a tiny blurry screen is quite annoying when taking lots of photos. As much as I love the manual focus on my ancient camera, the screen is so small and blurry I can't actually tell if what I'm trying to take is focused or not.

So why would I be telling people about this competition if I want to win it? (Although I know I won't but you have to have a tiny bit of hope right?) I can't enter it as I'm not 18 =( I went online to look at terms and conditions and it said must be 18 years of age. Damn, just one more month!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, so all food bloggers/photographers out there, go enter since it's free and you can have unlimited entries I believe. Random: Survey

If you grew up in the last decade where emails were the thing not letters, then I'm sure you've done a number of those email surveys. Not company ones but the random ones where you put in your favourite colour, drink and other utterly random facts. There is a certain joy to doing them and for the ones who read, it's nice to find out something you didn't know about the person. At least that's what I think is the purpose of these surveys.

5 of My Favourite Things

Xiaowei posted his an hour or two ago. And seeing that I'm just cleaning my desk tonight, I decided to do my own =) Everything is from my room.

1. A gift from K仔. Looks pretty and means a whole lot more.

2. Made these over a year ago I think. Paper Air Force Ones. They look awesome but they are so fiddly to make.

3. My Leehom Wang Poster. Wake up to him everyday as an alarm clock and when I open my eyes =) Alex is awesome too.

4. My Food Pics on my walls. Just a portion of the wall. My inspiration.

5. Juggling Balls. Yes I can juggle, but I never do anymore because I simply forget I have the skill.
